PeopleReady Construction Laborer in Somerville, Massachusetts
We are currently seeking experienced construction laborers to join our team at a large commercial construction site. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working on commercial sites and possess a valid OSHA-10 certification. As a skilled laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction activities, including but not limited to site preparation, material handling, and general labor tasks.
The pay rate for this job is $20 - $22 / hour
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
Handle and transport materials to designated areas
Operate basic hand and power tools as directed
Support other construction team members as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience working on commercial construction sites
Valid OSHA-10 certification
Ability to pass a background check
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions
