Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. You will spend the majority of your day welding plates to beams and columns on steel that will be used in large structures across the country. This position requires proficiency in Flux-core and MIG welding on rails and stairs.
Hours :
Mandatory 49-hour work weeks*
1 st Shift: 5:30am-4pm M-Th, 5:30am-3pm F
2 nd Shift: 4pm-1:30am M-Th, 4pm-12:30am F
Starting Pay :
$20-$25/hr depending on weld test/interview
They are pretty good about reviews/potential raises every 6 months
Responsibilities
Weld plates to beams and columns on structural steel.
Perform Flux-core and MIG welding on rails and stairs.
Ensure welds meet the highest standards for structural integrity.
Read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols.
Use tape measure accurately for fabrication tasks.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in MIG Welding and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
Experience welding on structural steel or completion of relevant schooling.
Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and weld symbols.
Proficient in using a tape measure.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
