Description
We are seeking a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Somerset, New Jersey. This role is in the healthcare industry and requires you to be on-site. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing medical billing processes, ensuring accurate medical coding, and handling medical collections.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the processing of medical billing
• Ensure accurate and efficient medical coding using ICD CPT and ICD-9 CPT-4
• Handle and resolve any medical collections related issues
• Maintain and update patient accounts and records
• Deal with any customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Required to be vaccinated as a part of the role.
Requirements • Proven experience in Medical Billing is mandatory for this role.
• A high level of proficiency in ICD CPT is required.
• Applicants should have a comprehensive understanding of ICD-9 CPT-4.
• Previous experience in Medical Collections is a significant advantage.
• Candidates should possess a strong background in Medical Coding.
