SHI Marketing Events Admin in Somerset, New Jersey

Job Summary

The Internal Marketing Events Admin will support the marketing department in fulfilling all marketing projects related to internal marketing initiatives. The Marketing Events Admin will work closely with the internal marketing events team, vendors, and marketing customers to aid in facilitating events by setting up the event and running logistics for attendees and vendors.

This position is required to report to the SHI HQ290 office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

  • Catering, ordering, and onsite management for in office partner events

  • Coordinate promotional items by checking inventory, ordering stock from site and monitoring shipments

  • Notify sales teams of in-house events via email with sign up information and monitor the attendee list

  • Direct logistics on internal lunch and learns and meet and greets including catering and room reservations by sending out e-mails to sales team with sign up information

  • Record keeping and tracking profitability of events via the established Marketing teams’ spreadsheets

  • Reconciliation of the monthly credit card statement against the event receipts to ensure accuracy

  • Ordering supplies and prizes for conferences and in office events

  • Assist with project-based work (surveys, name badges, etc.)

  • Conduct survey’s about meeting and events to facilitate continual improvement

  • Create meeting ID badges for attendees

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Experience with MS Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Positive attitude and friendly demeanor

  • Highly organized, detailed & resourceful

  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

Unique Requirements

  • Local and National Travel for some events required 10-20%

  • Lifting up to 50lbs

  • Extended hours are required to complete certain special projects, including but not limited to nights & weekends, on occasion

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $35,000 - $50,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
