Home Helper/Caregiver

Flexible Shifts Available:

• Monday-Friday

• Weekend Shifts

Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities of a caregiver:

• Companionship and conversation

• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

• Transportation to and from appointments, errands and activities

• Medication and appointment reminders

• Alzheimer’s Care

Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to care for seniors and with dignity and respect

• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner

• Complete Background Check, MVC check and drug screen

• Possess a valid driver’s license, social security card and valid auto insurance.

All caregivers will go through specific training designed by Home Instead prior to working for our clients. After training caregiver will feel confident going into the client’s home helping them achieve success with their emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.
