Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in Solvang, California. This role entails managing various tax-related functions in a public setting, working alongside diverse industries and clients. The position will provide intellectual challenges and opportunities for advancement, with a focus on individual, corporate, real estate, and partnership taxation.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns including Individual Tax Return, Corporate Tax Return, Partnership Tax, Trust Tax Returns, Estate Tax Return, Federal Income Tax Return.

• Providing tax advisory services to clients across various industries.

• Managing the choice of entity and multi-state tax issues.

• Conducting thorough tax research and presenting findings.

• Demonstrating strong organizational techniques and presentation skills.

• Collaborating with staff members, partners, and clients on multiple tasks and projects.

• Maintaining detail oriented knowledge and passion for the profession. Requirements • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Individual Tax Returns.

• Proven expertise in handling Corporate Tax Returns.

• Proficient in Partnership Tax management.

• Experience in preparing and managing Trust Tax Returns.

• Knowledge of Estate Tax Return preparation and management.

• Must have experience with Federal Income Tax Returns.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to research and propose resolutions for complex tax issues.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
