Labcorp Senior IT Auditor in Sofia, Bulgaria

This position will be responsible for planning and conducting audits to evaluate information Technology systems, functions, facilities in client/server environment at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Internal Audit management in performing an enterprise-wide annual risk assessment resulting in the development of an annual audit plan.

  • Plans and conducts complex IT audits of systems, processes, and control compliance institute standards and industry best practices (e.g., IIA (Institute of Internal Auditors) Standards, NIST, ISACA, CISA, etc.)

  • Plans IT audit engagements, including developing and executing the risk-based audit programs.

  • Conduct all phases of technology audits including planning, fieldwork, reporting results to management and performing follow-up.

  • Work with IT/Technology owners to understand the risks associated with current and planned IT applications and provide control requirements to mitigate those risks.

  • Use a data-driven approach to identify potential risks, anomalies, and patterns in data sets.

  • Assist in completion of all regulatory compliance activities such as Sarbanes Oxley Act.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's (4-year) degree in a technical major, such as computer science or information systems. Master or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years IT audit experience and/or other relevant IT experience; Auditing in an ERP environment preferred.

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional) certification preferred.

  • Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and communicate audit findings to management.

  • Ability to successfully work independently with little supervision while consistently utilizing initiative and good judgment.

  • Understanding & execution of data analytics, visualization tools & process automation. (Including Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or other data mining tools).

  • Familiarity with Workiva Wdesk or Audit Board preferred.

  • Solid working knowledge of computer systems, software application controls, information security systems development methodologies and internet security and technologies.

  • Strong aptitude for working with technology, coupled with the ability to learn and absorb new information quickly is required.

  • Experience working in a diagnostic or clinical laboratory or healthcare industry experience, preferred.

  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks required while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to change.
