IQVIA Senior Director, IT Privacy Compliance Partner in Sofia, Bulgaria
This role plays an essential role in the successful execution of the Information Governance and Privacy program in IQVIA’s Research and Development Solutions clinical research organization.
Essential Functions
Understand and provide input into organization's current and future information governance and privacy requirements.
Analyze information to identify capability gaps in the context of emerging technologies and data use, security and regulatory considerations, and changes in industry standards,
Develop strategy to evaluate, design, or plan the implementation of new or updated information governance controls and analyze impact on existing environment.
Lead, manage, or monitor information governance projects, provide expert guidance on information governance matters for other IT projects.
Assess effectiveness of information governance programs within primary area of responsibility.
Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's information governance policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Encourage new ideas for team to foster improvements through innovation.
Empower staff to be accountable and responsible for their own actions and decisions.
Promote and exhibit collaboration and positive teamwork.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Governance, a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years leading information governance, privacy, security technology, project management, and/or strategy.
Experience in the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry
Information governance, Privacy, or security certifications such as CIPP, CISSP, CIPM
