Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Expected start date: 1st of August (6 month internship)

We are looking for a Software Development Intern to join our SAP Environment Health and Safety Management team and work on new product features with a focus on quality activities.
The SAP Environment Health and Safety module (SAP EHS) supports our customers with all activities in the areas of industrial safety, health, and environmental protection. It helps organizations to reduce effort and costs in regulatory reporting, improve tracking of compliance and drive a proactive safety culture in the workplace. Our product is developed in mainly in ABAP programming language but we use also JavaScript, UI5, SQL.
As a Development Intern you will:
Work in a cross-functional team of talented and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and the industrys best practices.
Learn and work with SAP development tools and technologies, like Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, ABAP programming language, Core Data Services (CDS), in-memory computing, SAP Business Technology Platform, and others
Participate and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Constantly improve your agile software engineering skills
You will get the support and guidance of buddy and experienced team members to onboard and develop your skills.
What you bring:
Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
You are a student in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related subjectas well. Prior work experience is not required.
Basic knowledge in software development of any programming language
Knowledge in OOP, data structures and algorithms, databases, relational databases design and SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, UI5 will be considered an advantage
Basic understanding of software architecture principles, modern cloud architectures and design of large software systems
You are a collaborative team player, with strong communication skills
Good command in English
