The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for a Development Expert with ABAP for the SAP S/4HANA for product compliance solution. The solution supports customers to manage products and keep them compliant to applicable regulations across the whole product lifecycle.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

With you vast technical and product knowledge, you will have a leading role in all phases of software development and continuous delivery researching, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, testing. You will champion best practices with SAP development tools and technologies in the team and across the product, build an advanced product based on your evolving knowledge of SAP Sustainability solutions and relevant technologies.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Solid experience with ABAP and object-oriented programming is mandatory.

  • Hand-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, RAP, Core Data Services (CDS).

  • Responsible for development focusing on concept, design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in an innovative and dynamic environment with openness for new technologies.

  • Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving complex issues. Shows technical, business and/or methodological leadership.

  • Defines deliverables and provides advice and recommendations that may affect future design decisions. Shares in-depth knowledge and experience with team to enable decision-making and provide reliable solutions to highly complex business issues.

  • Constantly improves work methods and engineering skills in the team and beyond to establish state-of-the-art agile software engineering practices. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Easily moves into new topics.

  • Consistently demonstrates initiative and end to end ownership of topics with high quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Ready to create technical specifications of programs and interfaces based on functional specifications provided.

  • Self-motivated, self-driven, curious, open minded, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to learn and multiply knowledge in the team quickly.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10 years of development experience.

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or related field.

  • Excellent collaboration with customers, stakeholders and team building skills across different functional roles and locations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, written and spoken.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

  • Has expert level and broad overall product and technical knowledge and is recognized as a subject matter expert. Has current and in-depth knowledge of industry trends.

  • Previous experience with customer support, with ability to handle escalations with integrity and agility.
