Eaton Corporation Key Account Manager - EWS (Electrical Wholesaler) in Soborg, Denmark

What you’ll do:

The responsibility of the EWS Key Account Manager is to drive the growth of Eaton’s Electrical Wholesaler

customers in Denmark and Iceland within Eaton’s product offering to the electrical sector (Electrical components).

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and develop EWS customer base in Denmark and Iceland on a high ‘best practice’ level

• Meet and exceed sales goals for turnover & margin

• Build up a professional and proactive loyalty and relationship with customers

• Map key contacts and business opportunities with the customers

• Drive growth and loyalty with the customers by being proactive with campaigns, actions etc.

• Secure a high productivity by being out with the customers

• Plan visits, book meetings, make meeting minutes and follow up on actions

• Negotiate contracts, discount, campaigns, marketing activities, payment terms etc.

• Recommend appropriate agreements for contracts, tenders and quotes to achieve sales growth and customers profitability.

• Planning and organizing own time, with focus on high productivity & limitation of waste

• Expected split between customer facing time & other tasks are 50/50

• When market changes or issues occur, delivering within a tight planning and deadline driven environment

• Influence and work closely with the Internal Sales department to ensure that activities are coordinated and resourced to ensure success.

• Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop the sales, sales process & go to market strategy

• Utilize interpersonal skills to develop and maintain key relationships – internal (Denmark & Eaton product divisions) and external (explore contacts at customer levels)

• The Key Account Manager will be responsible for the turnover & margin for own customers

Qualifications:

  • Experience with sales to wholesalers

  • Business qualification – Degree or equivalent

  • Experience within the Electrical Sector would be highly advantageous

Skills:

  • Good skills in communication, with the ability to deliver effective presentations and customer meetings

  • Fluency in Danish & English mandatory

  • You are a self-starter and you don’t give up.

  • You have a proactive approach, aim for the maximum possible outcome and not only what has been agreed

  • Excellent interpersonal & networking skills

  • You are highly aware of own impact and what drives and motivates others – Perceived performance is everything

  • Thorough understanding of customer behaviours and purchasing patterns

  • Fully confident in mapping customers and uncover their potential

  • Proven track record of sizable sales growth

  • You feel comfortable in a changeable environment, are a quick learner and stay focused on the target

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • Ability to develop sales action plans and utilize an assertive approach to deliver exceptional results

  • Ability to flex and adapt tactics in response to changes to internal business priorities and market dynamics

  • Demonstrable Planning, Time Management and Prioritisation skills

  • IT literate with good working knowledge of CRM systems & Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
