AAA Mid Atlantic Specialist, Auto Services Mobile Solutions in Sobeck, United States

AAA Alliance is currently seeking a full-time Automotive Services Mobile Solutions Specialist to join our team!

The primary duties of the Automotive Services Mobile Solutions Specialist are:

  • Install, configure, maintain and perform routine support and administration on all roadside assistance systems and applications, wireless communication systems, programs/mobile operating systems and hardware as well as any future technology/systems replacements and solutions.

  • Available to be on site 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to receive equipment orders, configure equipment, and ship equipment.

  • Configures and deploys mobile technology such as tablets and mobile phones.

  • Travel to contractor stations and Fleet locations to troubleshoot, diagnose and perform needed deployments of mobile devices and/or Automotive Solutions Technology and Systems solutions systems as necessary while ensuring minimal disruption or down time for the operation.

  • Utilize established administrative processes to accurately maintain technology inventory, log and trend wireless equipment malfunction and repairs, and assist in systems and solutions refreshes and replacement strategies, etc.

  • Respond to support requests for assistance in accordance with service level agreements for the operation.

  • Perform quality control checks and refresher training to ensure appropriate and consistent use of Roadside Assistance technology solutions.

  • Interacts with all levels of Automotive Solutions, Contact Center and Distribution management and operations staff, internal IT as well as external roadside assistance service providers, AAR facility staff, external support vendors and AAA National.

  • Researches and tests applications and technology that can improve business processes or roadside assistance member experience.

  • Weekly after hours and weekend on call support rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Technology/Science preferred or completion of computer technology certification courses (mobile technology and operating systems preferred)

  • Working knowledge of MS Windows-based computer applications or similar software packages, or equivalent, and three years’ experience in an IT oriented role involving software/hardware installation and support.

  • Strong background in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including installation and configuration of operating systems/programs, and PC based word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management systems (Soti MobiControl a plus).

  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile computing hardware and software applications as well as mobile device operating systems.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Field Service mobile application

  • Must possess and maintain a valid drivers' license with a satisfactory driving record and have access to own transportation.

  • Experience working in an environment with both individual and team goals.

  • AAA Emergency Roadside Assistance knowledge strongly preferred

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and database malfunctions.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform including Salesforce Field Service mobile application.

  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in fast – paced environment.

  • Ability to adjust work schedule and priorities to meet business needs as position requires working on a rotating On-Call Schedule.
