Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Process Development Engineer III in Snoqualmie, Washington

SUMMARY Process Engineers plays the role of a technical expert in unit processes used in the manufacturing of flexible PCBs. They are the vital link in ensuring that our manufacturing processes are stable, predictable, safe, and deliver output of the highest quality. Additionally, a person in this role analyzes existing processes, identifies improvement areas, and implements solutions to dynamically meet the demands of our customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Core team member for product and process risk analysis. * Conduct detailed analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including applications, quality control, maintenance, and management, to develop and implement process improvements. * Design, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and tools to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. * Utilize process simulation software and other tools to model, optimize, and validate proposed improvements. * Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma projects to drive waste reduction and process optimization. * Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and ensure smooth production operations. * Work with Equipment and Facilities teams to ensure processing equipment are maintained and functional. * Work with equipment vendors to understand capabilities and adapt to our needs. * Act as a training resource for operators in manufacturing. * Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to process engineering and manufacturing. SALARY INFORMATION: According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $100,000 and $130,000 annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline.
