Spacelabs Healthcare LLC Mechanical Engineer in Snoqualmie, Washington
Design and develop medical device systems and products including patient monitoring equipment and systems per specifications. Review 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics to design and develop equipment. Apply theoretical calculation to design in areas such as thermodynamics, fluid flow, or structural analysis by testing mathematical/simulation models to validate the capabilities and parameters of the equipment design and prove the prototype will do as design indicates. Confer with other engineers involved with design, implementation, test & transition into manufacturing of both new and legacy products. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure manufacturing, fabrication, tooling, materials and assemblies meet technical specification of products. Perform technical reviews and provide technical support as a subject matter expert for mechanical elements of designs and products. Develop test protocols, procedures and related technical reports and presentations.
