Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Snohomish, Washington

Description

Our client is seeking a self-motivated, fast-paced, organized and detail-oriented full charge bookkeeper responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets for client associations.

  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Coordinate with property managers and board members to address financial inquiries and provide support as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with HOA regulations, tax requirements, and other financial obligations.

  • Assist with annual audits and tax filings.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 + discretionary profit sharing bonus.

Requirements

For this role, your background should include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in property management or HOA environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of HOA regulations and procedures is a plus.
