Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst - Manufacturing in Smyrna, Tennessee

Description

Our client, a prominent manufacturing company located in Smyna, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience, proficiency in SAP and Advanced Excel, and a strong background in supporting reporting functions such as forecasting, KPIs, budgeting, and profitability analysis. Any exposure to PowerBI is considered a plus. This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule based in Smyrna, TN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategy formulation.

  • Reporting Functions: Assist in preparing and managing forecasts, key performance indicators (KPIs), budgeting, and profitability analysis.

  • SAP Expertise: Utilize SAP for data extraction, analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

  • Advanced Excel: Employ advanced Excel skills to develop financial models, perform complex calculations, and generate insightful reports.

  • PowerBI Exposure: Leverage any exposure to PowerBI to create interactive dashboards and enhance data visualization.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, provide financial insights, and support various projects.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and Advanced Excel. Any experience with PowerBI is a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
