We work collaboratively to provide compassionate care and utilize evidence based practice to improve outcomes – to every patient, every time Job Details DUTIES: Assists patients through the registration process and places orders in the laboratory information system. Expedites the flow of specimens from receipt in lab to delivery to performing departments. Responsible for answering the telephones and processing requests for patient reports and results. QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or GED equivalency. Computer/office skills/secretarial courses desirable. Minimum 2-3 years previous clerical experience preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: General computer skills required. Position also requires ability to operate general office equipment and communication devices such as telephones, fax machines and photocopy machines. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with laboratory staff, patients, families, physicians, outside agencies and other hospital personnel. Salary Range USD $21.96 - USD $21.96 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
