Position: Skilled Carpenter
Starting Wage: $22.50/hour
Milestone Achievements:
60-day Bonus
Annual Raise & Bonus
Future Opportunities: Advance to Lead Carpenter and Master Carpenter roles, with wages up to $45/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Carpentry Tasks: Execute a range of complex carpentry tasks, showcasing your ability to create detailed inlays, carvings, and custom furniture pieces.
Tool Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in setting up and using advanced tools like table saws, jointers, and planers, ensuring precision in every project.
Mentorship: Share your knowledge and skills by mentoring junior carpenters, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Custom Cabinet Construction: Take lead on projects involving the construction of custom cabinetry and furniture, from initial design to final installation, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship.
Problem-Solving: Apply your critical thinking skills to solve complex carpentry-related problems, whether it’s troubleshooting equipment issues or finding creative solutions to design challenges.
Qualifications:
Experience : Demonstrable experience in carpentry, with a portfolio that highlights your skills in custom work and detailed craftsmanship.
Tool Proficiency : Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with woodworking tools and machinery.
Creativity & Precision : Ability to execute intricate woodworking tasks with precision and creativity.
Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Team Player : Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, willing to share knowledge and assist team members.
