Job Description

Would you like to develop your sales knowledge, harnessing your energy and desire to help grow the LEGO® brand?

The LEGO Group is looking for a passionate Sales Intern with a focused problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude to come and join our Sales team in a full-time role for 12 months.

You will either support the Omnichannel team (which covers Grocery, Discounter & Toy Specialist retailers) or the eCommerce team based in our Slough office. You will help facilitate commercial execution on one of the most beloved brands in the world, ultimately supporting our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

Internship Eligibility:

  • Internship Dates: 14th July 2025 to 24th July 2026. This paid internship is full-time (37.5h/week), based in our Slough office (minimum 3 days/week on site).

  • Candidates must be 18+ years of age (at the time of contract starting on 14th July 2024) and have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.

  • Candidates must be enrolled (at the time of application) in higher education or an equivalent training program/scheme/course and seeking new career experiences.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the omnichannel or eCommerce sales team on vital retailer procedures that ensure execution of our products and themes in renowned eCommerce or omnichannel retailers in the UK & Ireland.

  • Facilitate the retailer preview showcases, organising selling-in materials and new products and liaising with marketing presenters to enable smooth delivery.

  • Develop knowledge and use of tools and software packages to support account teams with retailer range, portfolio plans and secondary space planograms.

  • Manage retailer and licensor requests for product samples.

  • Support the broader sales team to help enable the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth delivery of executions across the full sales team.

  • Work with wider sales team to collate and track key data. Interpret and share this analysis with global, regional and local stakeholders.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Your role will be supporting the LEGO sales omnichannel or eCommerce team with key retailer setup processes, ensuring a first right time approach and eliminating friction for our products to end up in the hands of shoppers & consumers.

You will also be an enabler for product portfolio presentation to retailers, as well as facilitating effective review of sales performance and strategy.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven interest in sales, account management and wider retail landscape knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (proficiency in English).

  • Ability to analyse large data sets and distill insights.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.

  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team.

  • Can do attitude and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

  • Proactivity and confidence to make decisions, manage expectations and meet deadlines.
