Projects Site Supervisor will be acting as a Site Supervisor in large sites (e.g Microsoft data centers) and will be responsible for site preparation through deliveries, construction and testing phases. This person will also be authorising the daily operational works at site by implying EHS requirements and by will be rotating over 6 weeks on site - 1 week home for distant location work (EMEA).

What you’ll do:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for Health and Safety, Environmental process on site, ensuring a safe working environment is always provided and ensuring any necessary documentation such as, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RA/MS)

  • Being responsible to represent the Project Manager on site and during local coordination meeting.

  • Coordinating site works by Eaton and Eaton third party suppliers on a daily basis.

  • Highlighting gaps in resource (quality and quantity) to Project Manager.

  • Maintaining close cooperation with Project Manager and site service coordinators to form an effective team for executing Eaton's scope of supply.

  • Providing regular updates to project manager what works performed, issues, planning for next period of work.

  • Ensuring effective use of resources to help reach profitability expectations and notifying extra-work.

  • Serving as a testing auditor of test forms and test practices of the on-site testing/certifying /commissioning agent.

  • Coordinating with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements.

  • Organizing trainings for different parties as required.

  • Acting ethically and according to Eaton Values & Philosophy following the company rules and policies (such as EBS) i.e. leading by example and ensuring that also own team members and vendors are following these rules.

Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical background is needed.

  • Electrician training and/or project working experience ideal is expected.

  • 1-2 years of experience in similar roles is expected.

Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with Health and Safety and Quality Management on construction site

  • Experience in power distribution construction site,

  • Experience of executing delivery projects, electrical work and field service & commissioning work

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring, cabling documents.

  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office and MS project

  • Knowledge in Datacenter in a plus

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Willing to work on rotation 6 weeks on site - 1-week home.

  • Good people skills and Experience of working with customers is critical.

  • English is a must. Other local language skills may be required for long duration work in specific locations.

  • Flexibility and adaptability - eagerness to learn all aspects of job is required for this role.
