Position Summary Information
Position Summary
Dispatching for police officers of Slippery Rock University Police Department.
Answering phone calls, radio calls, and traffic control to assist in directing and parking vehicles and patrol services.

Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Successful performance in a campus interview and passing a criminal background check.
Candidate must be available to work shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime.
Knowledge of computer usage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in dispatching, call centers, or law enforcement preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Knowledge of common building safety practices.
Experience working with diverse cultures and possess an understanding of diverse populations.
