Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Commercial & Marketing in Sleepy Hollow, New York

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Procurement within our Commercial / Marketing category. This role will shape and support the definition and implementation of the Global Insights & Analytics Category strategy. Our Global Procurement team is investing in resources both to support the team growth and anticipated growth in spend. The vision is to build a procurement capability that acts as a competitive advantage to Regeneron and evolve the organizational structure to focus the team on end-to-end category accountability and invest in appropriate category leadership, including further development of our center of excellence and establishing an international markets procurement team. This role, as part of the Global Procurement team, will collaborate with internal category teams and will having end to end accountability for category management, sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationship management, in turn driving consistency and efficiency.

This is a great opportunity to help shape and drive the development of the new organization and realize our vision. The Sr. Manager role is based at our HQ campus in Sleepy Hollow, NY and is hybrid / onsite - it is not eligible for remote work.

A typical day may include:

  • Supporting the definition and implementation of the global Insights & Analytics Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs as assigned.

  • Working closely with stakeholders to manage discussions related to the Insights & Analytics Categories and aligning category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.

  • Leading negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement activities for the Insights & Analytics Category

  • Helping to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from category management activities.

  • Representing the Global Procurement strategic vision via participating in organizational decisions with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results.

  • Managing category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations, as applicable.

  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.

This role may be for you if you have:

  • Demonstrated expereince working within Insights & Analytics categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

  • Demonstrated experience working within an efficient global procurement organization to support the growth and evolution of innovative sourcing strategies.

  • Knowledge to drive improvements within Regeneron, aligned with corporate priorities.

  • Used external data sources, market information, and supplier engagement to constantly improve Regeneron’s knowledge of supply market dynamics.

  • Experience managing associate level professionals preferred.

  • Working knowledge with sourcing contracting tools, ERP’s, and eRFx systems preferred. (Oracle, Zycus, Ariba, Other)

To be considered for this role you must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study plus relevant, progressive experience in procurement, sourcing & category management - experience in Pharma/BioPharma is a plus. Experience successfully managing category processes, and suppliers across a breadth of categories and demonstrated success working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results.

Salary Range (annually)

$129,800.00 - $211,800.00
