Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Director, Core Brand Marketing in Sleepy Hollow, New York

Known for scientific and operational excellence, Regeneron is a leading science-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, invents, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, pain, and infectious diseases.

The Sr. Director, Global Core Brand, will be responsible for bringing best in class brand building capabilities and innovative solutions to reach Oncology stakeholders and patients. This candidate will also lead a cross functional strategic and tactical annual brand plan for the brand which increases our brand equity and business, builds loyalty with customers, and ensures our brand resonates with current and potential customers. The Senior Director will lead a team which develops overall brand strategic and tactical plans above indications and will also lead Consumer Marketing for the Oncology Business Unit and Digital plus Omnichannel Marketing for the brand across customers.

A typical day may include the following:

  • Lead team to develop global consumer strategy and tactical plan across Oncology tumor types, digital brand marketing plans and media strategy across indications and customers, brand planning process, Multi-Tumor Congress plans, and Marketing-led sales meetings

  • Bring best in class capabilities across digital, social, etc, to reach all customer targets and develop innovative solutions to reach Oncology patients across tumor types

  • Provide leadership support to the development of the overall brand strategy including overseeing development of KPIs across the team and tactical budget management process.

  • Ensure innovative solutions and best practices are leveraged for reaching HCP’s, Patients, and caregivers

  • Understand and leverage trends in the marketplace and competitive benchmarking to inform strategies for consumer and digital marketing programs

  • Build a strong team of core brand, consumer and digital marketers, while leading team to collaborate and build alignment across indication teams and cross functional teams in CBU and other functions.

  • Ensure cost effective delivery of all programs while tracking and monitoring effectiveness including KPI’s, ROI and actionable findings.

  • Must demonstrate ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate as a leader of people and cross functionally

  • Demonstrated competency in marketing innovation including managing ad agencies/vendors, and marketing strategy and tactical effectiveness measures.

  • Ability to lead a team with multiple responsibilities and drive results

  • Experience in delivering complex messages to various internal and external customers with a track record of effective and influential presentations

  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in ambiguity within complex, rapidly changing environments

  • Strong project management, process development and marketing impact measurement skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally with experience working across brand team to leverage product messaging into distinct customer/stakeholder channels

  • Experience managing direct reports and developing direct report marketing skills and behaviors

  • Strong analytical skills both quantitative and qualitative

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum of 15 years biopharmaceutical marketing experience with at least 5 in Consumer marketing and 5 in digital marketing. Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA preferred. Oncology experience a plus. 50% travel and work weekends for Medical Congresses. Global marketing experience a plus.

Salary Range (annually)

$208,700.00 - $347,800.00
