Role reports to: The Director of ESG Reporting and Engagement
Location: Skillman, NJ. Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.
Travel %: 10%
Pay: $98,000 - $167,900

What you will do

The ESG/Sustainability Reporting & Engagement Program Manager will be a part of Kenvue's Global ESG & Sustainability team and will help drive and elevate the company's ESG voluntary and regulatory reporting and support internal stakeholder engagement.

This role requires a strong program manage r with experience in developing (concepting, writing, collecting data, etc.) global corporate sustainability reports, either as a consultant or within a multinational organization . This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution. The candidate will also be skilled at building relationships across functions to align strategies, drive execution, and should have a passion for sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Help support the preparation of mandatory and voluntary ESG-related disclosure requirements (i.e., EU CSRD, California S.B 261, etc.) including Kenvue's annual sustainability report and CDP response.

Support ESG rating agency reporting (i.e., MSCI, S&P CSA, ISS, etc.).

Provide guidance on and support the content development of our climate transition action plan to ensure it meets voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements.

Oversee the collection, aggregation, and analysis of ESG data used for reporting, including monitoring ESG software systems and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Support the development and maintenance of effective controls in standard ESG reporting processes; liaise with controllership on processes and controls and other ESG related matters for reporting; and help coordinate internal and external audit of ESG reporting.

Engage ESG data owners to foster cross-functional collaboration; consider evolving ESG reporting requirements to help establish internal governance processes.

Ensure timely, clear, and consistent communication of scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and decisions to ESG & Sustainability core team and key business stakeholders.

Provide critical thinking and risk management oversight to programs from planning through implementation; simultaneously coordinate multiple tracks of work, managing timelines and issues across projects to ensure program success.

Manage a high degree of change in a fast paced, complex, and demanding environment.

Support employee engagement programs aimed at building a common understanding of what sustainability means at Kenvue and knowledge of core ESG topics.

Provide additional support for ESG & Sustainability team ad hoc projects and operations

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required

A minimum of 8 years of experience in ESG reporting

Strong written communications skills

Knowledge of mandatory ESG disclosure requirements (i.e., EU CSRD)

Knowledge of traditional ESG reporting standards (i.e., GRI, SASB, ISSB)

Experience managing progressively complex and challenging projects or programs

Experience with ESG data analysis

Possess general knowledge across multiple dimens ions of both social and environmental sustainability topics.

Ability to work and interact with a globally distributed team in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Leadership qualities including strategic and critical thinking, relationship management, organizational skills, and ability to motivate and influence others.

Ability to anticipate potential challenges and propose mitigation plans.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) & presentation skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.

Demonstrated project management experience

What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $98,000 to $167,900. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
