Role reports to: Senior Director of Global Media Relations

Location: Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.

Travel %: 10-25

Pay: Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $137,000 to $235,750 . This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.

What you will do

The Director, Global Financial Communications will develop and implement strategic financial communications to amplify Kenvue’s narrative regarding its financial positioning, business focus and strategic direction for external and internal audiences.

This candidate is a seasoned corporate communications strategist with an expertise in financial communication. This person is invigorated by complex assignments and is comfortable in leading through ambiguous and unprecedented situations, while fostering collaboration and alignment throughout the global matrix.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in partnering cross-functionally to design and execute financial communications strategies that support business performance, including contributing to communications on quarterly earnings calls and presentations, analyst conferences and events, press releases, and other corporate activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and continually update an in-depth, comprehensive, personal understanding of the Company’s operations, business strategy, financial performance and external trends to inform and shape communications strategies.

  • Contribute to the shaping of key financial stakeholder messages, including but not limited to earnings scripts, road show and conference presentations, press releases, topical messaging & QA documents, Board presentations.

  • Executes an integrated, multi-channel communications strategy to elevate the company’s financial profile among press, trade groups, think tanks and other stakeholders that promotes and protects Kenvue’s purpose, vision, values, industry leadership and market performance.

  • Establishes and maintains high-touch relationships with key business, tech and financial trade media and seeks out opportunities to re-direct, shape and land narratives that are supportive of corporate comms goals; also manages reactive inquiries.

  • Identifies, develops, and supports unique storylines, content, keynotes and thought-leadership opportunities relative to Kenvue’s financial and business achievements that advance the company’s corporate achievements, M&A and ESG initiatives, in partnership with functional leaders.

  • Stays informed on industry news and flags issues and trends for leaders in a timely manner.

  • Acting as project lead and working with colleagues in other functions to ensure the execution of cohesive, multi-disciplinary communications programs, aligned with business priorities and objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in communication at a corporate environment or public relations agency, with a focus on financial communications, is required

  • A self-starter with a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, be assertive, and take ownership. Able to shift gears and acclimate quickly.

  • Must demonstrate a global mindset with knowledge, appreciation, and awareness of the Kenvue business, operating flexibly from a global, regional and local level.

  • Must be able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and work independently and as part of a team.

  • Direct experience in financial communications and events required.

  • Must be a strong writer and critical thinker.

  • Must be a flexible team player able to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

  • Must be capable of mentoring and developing skills within a team.

  • Must be a resourceful self-directed professional.

  • Must possess high accountability for work quality.

  • Must be comfortable with occasional off-hours and weekend work.
