Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager with experience in both project management and EPIC Systems Implementation.

Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring programs meet and/or exceed business goals.
They will provide strategic guidance to teams and Project Managers in ways that promote the company’s culture.
Critical responsibilities include understanding the business strategies, establishing program plans to track incremental program milestones, interdependencies and resources.
The role would network and partner with Operations management, Information Technology management and/or third-parties, to oversee efforts to resolve complex problems, and respond and deliver timely and cost-effectively quality solutions.
The Program Manager will develop business metrics for assigned programs to track performance relative to business goals and success criteria.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or other related field is highly preferred.
Five years of experience directing or overseeing multiple large scale projects with a highly diverse team.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Certification in project management is required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Certification in program management or in the application process is required within 36 months.
This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Occasional weekends as needed and based on active projects
