Job Summary
The dietitian provides individual and group diabetes self-management education, and serves as a resource to other professionals.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required.
Dietetic Internship or similar American Dietetic Association approved Program required.
Two years of experience in dietetics with experience in diabetes education preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or obtain registration within three months of hire date is required.
Licensed as a Dietitian in the State of South Dakota required; potential for multiple state licensure.
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) completed or pursuing eligibility to sit for exam preferred
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$25.00 - $37.75 per hour
