Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our award-winning team. We process different grains and minerals for many different food and pharmaceutical companies. We are seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide instrumentation services, manage workload effectively, and document all service work accurately. This role involves troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and valves.
Responsibilities
Provide instrumentation services including troubleshooting, configuration, installation, documentation, checkout, and commissioning of instrumentation and valves.
Manage workload to maintain effectiveness and productivity.
Accurately document instrumentation service work and actively share instrumentation information, including work orders, calibration reports, variance reports, and MOC documents.
Train and support non-technical users on the use of plant floor automation systems.
Maintain instrument as-built documentation.
Work with 4-20mA analog signals and discrete signals.
Remove pressure, flow, and temperature devices and perform calibrations to ensure accuracy.
Test instrument interlocks with PLC to ensure proper operation, install instruments and sanitary tubing.
Install, audit (voltage/amp check, megg), and commission equipment to ensure proper operation and functionality.
Perform wire terminations on instruments and PLC panels and other electrical duties required (e.g., bend conduit, and pull wire).
Essential Skills
Three (3) years of experience in a maintenance capacity within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to troubleshoot programs residing in the Rockwell Automation PLC Control Systems.
Good understanding of interfacing with PLC's, scales, and display devices.
Knowledge of electrical systems using 480 volt 3 phase as well as 240 volt through 24 volt single phase systems.

Work Environment
Our work environment includes regular hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. All candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots for their first day. You will work with various technologies and equipment in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
