Due to business expansion, Equinor Singapore have an opportunity for a professional to support our Finance and Control function.

The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible forday-to-day accounting and preparation of monthly,quarterlyandyearlyreporting, in line with legal and statutory requirements.

  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting activities.

  • Manage activitiesregardingcost control, cost allocation follow-up, compliance, and audit support.

  • Support the company’s corporate income tax reporting.

  • Be responsible for the company’s Singapore statistics reporting.

  • Recommend and implement internal control improvement processes.

  • Liaise in a global matrix organisation i.e. with controllers and tax managers.

  • Collaborate closely with the companies outsourced accounting service providerand vendors.

  • Adegree in Accountancy andanaccreditation to work as an Accountant in Singapore (e.g. CPA/CA, or equivalent).

  • A minimum of 5 years’relevantexperience within accountancy, auditing, or financial reporting.

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)and Singapore Accounting Standards.

  • Experienceworking for international public accounting firms, and on a regional APAC portfolio.

  • Solid skills in accounting, tax matters, Inter and Intra company cost allocations, internal controls, SOX, performance management, subsidiary, and consolidation accounting.

  • Strong working proficiency in SAP as well as experience with Microsoft Power BI.

  • A team player, flexible and proactive, with strong collaboration skills.

  • Fluencyinwritten and verbalEnglish.
