nVent Sales Manager in Singapore, Singapore

In this position, you will get to:
Develop, implement and lead a focused sales strategy to attain aggressive growth targets within
the Enclosures SEA sales team
Manage the promotion, organization and guidance of sales policies and practices to provide
maximum market penetration of products
Develop and lead a high performance sales team that utilizes world class selling strategies and
demonstrates the nVent values including the “winning right” value in all actions
Define the Go-To-Market strategy considering the mix of direct along with channel and key
account strategy
Ensure team works cross functionally with global product category teams, marketing, customer
care, pricing, global account and operation teams to achieve strategic goals
Establish regular business review cadence with the team and rep agencies to ensure accuracy
in sales forecast and predictability of business results
Provide regularly scheduled updates and forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
objectives to senior management
Maintain the pulse of the competitive landscape, as well as; that of the customer-base business
needs in order provide input to develop new products and market
Bachelor’s degree business, marketing, or related field
8+ years in an outside sales role in an electronic or industrial market along extensive
experience selling through multiple types of customers, including distributors,
integrators/consultants, engineers and end users/OEMs
5+ years in a leadership level capacity including P&L management
Knowledge and experience using sales force effectiveness tools and approaches (i.e. customer
segmentation, territory management, technology tools such as CRM and mobile technologies,
sales force time management)
Proven skills to identify sales force capability gaps and implementation of plans to address for
sustainable success
Demonstrated skills for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard
of excellence. Shows a passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to
continuous improvement.
Proven skills to cultivate long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with core accounts
that elevates revenue opportunities and brand equity
