RedHat Sales Enablement and Development Regional Advocate, APAC in Singapore, Singapore
Red Hat’s Sales Enablement and Development (SE+D) team is looking for a Sales Enablement and Development Regional Advocate to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will be a regional specialist reporting to the global senior manager of sales enablement. You will be a key partner to Red Hat’s Asia Pacific (APAC) sales teams responsible for delivering programs that improve sales competence, sales confidence, and executive-level selling skills through implementation of consultative selling practices. You will be key to helping our sales leader and managers make the connection between the performance they seek, the development of themselves and their teams, and the enablement experiences available to them. You’ll need to be result-oriented and passionate about helping sales executives exceed sales targets by focusing on development of a specific set of sales skills. You will field inbound requests from sales professionals, sales leaders, and sales support teams in APAC on the topics of sales enablement, development, and talent management, and then you’ll measure them against existing programs to identify gaps to ultimately support the greater Sales Enablement team to develop new potential programs for pilots or implementation. As a Sales Enablement and Development Regional Advocate, you’ll need to be entrepreneurial and able to thrive in a high-energy work environment traveling (post-pandemic) over 50% of the time to various APAC locations to engage and lead conversations and working group sessions with sales teams, managers, and sales leadership. You’ll work directly with the sales teams toward building, sustaining, and measuring best practices in global sales, pipeline generation, and sales skills mastery.
Primary job responsibilities
Building solid and sustainable relationships with senior sales leaders
Support and carry out the global talent management strategy for regional sales teams
Uncover gaps in current programs, processes, and skills across your assigned Red Hat’s sales team and present your findings back to the Sales and People (HR) team leadership and internal partners
Be responsible for the regionalization and ultimate delivery of existing sales enablement programs
Apply your understanding of varying maturity within the region to position the right programs to the right audiences
Maintain close alignment with all managers, regional sales leadership, and frontline sales managers to understand their goals and challenges and gather feedback to share back with the greater SE+D team
Manageme multiple programs simultaneously, as determined based on the prioritization of needs
Assess performance of sales teams with sales leaders and members of HR to prioritize enablement strategies and tactics and delivery to the field
Partner with local sales professionals and first-line managers to deliver development programs and processes
Represent the Sales team in the development of large Sales-focused events like sales kickoffs, partner events, large sales management meetings, etc.
Continually work on evolving global enablement programs based on feedback from the sales region
Lead role-based training sessions when required
Work directly with sales curriculum architects and the Red Hat University (RHU) to regionalize sales onboarding programs, sales management programs, and ongoing sales education for sales teams
Design and implement metrics to measure program impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility
Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments in the region
Facilitate ongoing sales enablement program delivery via sales enablement team and other internal corporate associates and select outside experts as needed
Support and assist with the development of junior SE+D team members
Maintain a positive attitude and support the Red Hat culture
Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
5+ years of sales, sales operations, and sales enablement experience
5+ years of experience with designing sales enablement programs, sales training, or working in a similar sales support role
Solid Sales process and coaching background
Ability to demonstrate understanding of complex technical acquisition and sales strategy implementation
Ability to take high-level sales strategies and develop structured plans, actions, and metrics to measure during the strategy’s implementation
Solid project and program management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and manage disparate enablement programs
Familiarity with sales processes and achievement of sales targets
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the APAC countries following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines
Experience with behavioral science in order to be able to communicate effectively from a behavioral science perspective is a big plus
Event planning experience is a plus
