Project Manager, Process and Systems Implementation (B3)
SUMMARY ROLE/RESPONSBILITY
General Profile : Requires strong project/program management skills; able to lead global, cross-functional teams across business segments. Interprets internal or external business needs and recommends best practices. Solves high value problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Requires guidance in only the most complex situations. Serves as a mentor for colleagues with less experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Key Responsibilities
Initiates projects and presents justification to obtain project approval for resources and funding
Leads key projects and programs in support of global logistics network optimization and automation
Ensures specific project and program objectives and scope are defined, and necessary preliminary activities are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of the project
Ensures all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion
Ensures all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented, and information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate
Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Intellectual Property, Confidentiality, Quality and Safety
Solves systems and process related issues to support Operations, internal organizations, and external suppliers
Analyzes data to identify opportunities for improvement and/or cost savings
Effectively works with other staff to maximize productivity for the project / program and organization.
Performs tasks as required to support the organization and projects
Experience
Minimum 7 years of project management in logistics, supply chain management or relevant technical/analytical discipline
Hands-on, highly organized project manager who has led global projects consisting of cross-functional teams across multiple businesses
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience leading ERP/systems projects, from Initiate to Close phases
Demonstrated ability to liaise between Business and IT on project requirements, design, testing, and deployment
Preferred: Experience leading Logistics process optimization and systems automation and integration projects
Knowledge
Program/project management, software/system implementations, process standardization
Specific systems and business processes necessary to support a global logistics network
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
Skills
Ability to build and lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units globally
Strong project management and leadership skills as well as demonstrated expertise in problem solving, change management and time management
Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written & verbal), presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations quickly
Proven executive level presence and ability to influence executive level decisions
Proven financial and business acumen
Proficiency with MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio, etc.
Adept with SAP ERP system
