Manulife Manager/Senior Manager, Product Delivery in Singapore, Singapore

The opportunity

Manulife Product Delivery Management is seeking a self-motivated and organized Senior Manager/Manager to support the senior team members on the delivery and implementation of insurance products.

Responsibilities

The Product Delivery Manager (PDM) will support the senior team members in:

  • Managing the delivery of medium to large complexity Insurance product launches from conceptualisation to implementation.

  • Providing cost and effort estimations for business case submission.

  • Collaborating with the product development team in the evaluation of product features.

  • Working closely with IT product implementation squads in proposing solutions for implementation.

  • Incorporating agile practices into all stages of product development.

  • Identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders to be involved in each stage of product launch and facilitate their involvement such that they accomplish their deliverables on time or provide the necessary sign offs for all documents/processes.

  • Resolving impediments and take initiative to escalate issues when necessary.

  • Providing effective and regular status updates to key internal and DBS stakeholders.

  • Follow-through the tracking of post launch (Day 1.5 & 2) implementations.

  • Managing the implementation of change requests that arose after product launches.

  • Tracking and implementing resolutions to post-production errors.

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management

  • Degree holder

  • Excellent project management, analytical, problem solving and communication skills

  • Strong team player

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills

  • Prior experience in an insurance industry/knowledge of basic life insurance product

  • Experience in using a range of agile project management methods preferred

  • Preferably with recognized qualification in Project Management

  • Preferably with experience in delivering digital products and projects
