 JOB SUMMARY

Executes Opera Cloud PMS processes Including administrative task, property configuration, application testing, support, communications, and vendor contacts, resulting in the success of Opera Cloud PMS and related services.

Deliver and maintain application specific documentation, training, and vendor materials for both property and pre-opening use.

Support PMS application release testing, focused on identifying bugs and issues to ensure smoot property rollouts.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • 2 years’ experience in the business, technology, or related professional area.

  • Demonstrated expertise of industry application platforms, trends, and best practices

  • Knowledge and ability to drive hospitality technology solutions.

  • Knowledge of Opera PMS application

  • Knowledge and experience in hotels infrastructure and computing environment

  • Good process management, negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills

  • Self-starter as well as team player

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Property and Continent Communications Management

  • Send Application Notifications

  • Execute Emergency Procedures and communications

  • Maintain the opera cloud SharePoint site

Managing Opera Hosting Environment

  • Manage Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance downtime & notification

  • Manage and Monitor Opera Cloud Performance

  • Manage and Monitor Instance and Datacenter Capacity

  • Management and assignment of Opera chains, chain configuration

  • Manage and Monitor property creation and configuration

  • Manage and Network Monitoring / Validate Property Connectivity / Property Firewall Configuration and Problem Resolution assistance

User Management

  • Manage and Monitor User Access Management Process for Pre-openings and O2H migrations

  • Manage and Monitor the Identity Shoppes user access request process, enable property approvers and SSD submissions

  • Review User Rights requirements

  • Execute Property Interface Account Creation (IFC8)

  • Execute Corporate Interface Account Creation and updates (Marsha / SGI)

  • Manage Vendor / Consultant / Dealer access

  • Execute yearly password change process for application and interface accounts

Implement and Maintain System Wide Configuration tasks

  • Execute and monitor system configuration of Opera v5 Cloud

  • Manage Opera Certificate Management, set Reminders and process Ordering

  • Ongoing validation and resolution on missing Loyalty Stays, PeopleSoft, TSA-Upsell and ODC/EVO exports

Opera Software Support and Execution

  • Develop and Maintain documentation for Datacenter processes and Property configuration tasks

  • Monitor Oracle MOS Support and identify and remediate common issues

Execute Marriott specific support for the configuration to vendor, corporate and properties

  • Execute Property Deflag process and post-deflag procedures in Opera Cloud

Reporting/ Data Consolidation/ System Audits

  • Maintain, execute, and Validate central reports

  • Audit User Rights configuration in Opera and IDP
