Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Medical Technologist!

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, contributing to our mission of improving health and lives globally. Internship Assignment Summary:

· Student will acquire clinical experience by working in the laboratory of a drug development company.

· Observe analytical testing of specimens, including embedding, sectioning, and staining, and interpret and document test results.

· Participate in quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results

· Perform and record routine checks on staining reagents and equipment.

· Maintain lab equipment, manage laboratory supplies, and ensure good housekeeping practices.

· Participate in lab meetings and assist with maintaining a safe work environment.

· Assist with clerical tasks as needed.

· Instruction and mentorship will be provided.

· At the end of training, the student will deliver a presentation to demonstrate his/her understanding of the training program across various departments.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

· Open to current undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences or Biomedical Sciences.

· Good organization and multitasking skills.

· Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

· Creative and self-motivated, with a collaborative approach in a high-performance team environment.
