Universal Pictures was the first of the modern Hollywood studios, and over their one hundred years, they have been responsible for some of the world’s most memorable feature films. It is the home of the epic Jurassic World franchise, the beloved Minions, the unstoppable Fast & Furious franchise, and DreamWorks animation, as well as a rich portfolio of classic films such as E.T., JAWS and Dracula. Universal Pictures Theatrical Brand Marketing unifies the strategic positioning and approach to Universal’s event and franchise films across the studio, during theatrical release, and throughout the lifecycle of the franchise to ensure brand consistency.
The role will support the APAC Franchise Strategy and Brand Marketing Function across the core responsibilities
Regional APAC Universal Franchise Strategy and execution
Regional APAC Universal Theatrical Brand Marketing
Regional APAC Symphony
Universal APAC Parks Brand Marketing
Your responsibilities may span the following areas:
Theatrical Brand Marketing/Park/Symphony
Support the Parks initiatives in APAC
Help with the Approval process of various initiatives at the parks – marketing, entertainment, social/digital campaigns
Support in preparing movie slate presentations for Parks, TVD and Theatrical partners in the region
Work closely with theatrical, Parks, CP, TVD group to plan and execute key symphony initiatives
Franchise Strategy
Assist Regional/local franchise leads on planning and execution of local initiatives, including approval process
Build Regional social/content calendar working with the global team
Assist in live events/digital amplification/gaming ideas needs for the region
Seeking experience in Media/Entertainment Industry
Interest in consumer insights, marketing, events, international market dynamics
Past exposure to the evolving digital/social environment. Knowledge of global/local digital platforms/gaming targeting kids and young adults
Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management
Keen eye for detail, consolidation, organization
Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from June 2025 to January 2026 for undergraduate students.
