Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementation of RTX Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) program requirements

  • Develop and establish inspection system using Qualtrics or EHS Smart system

  • Coordinate EH&S training and SAP TEM records

  • Participate in new technology or production improvement project

  • Sustainability (energy, water and waste)

  • Implement Best Management Practices in Sustainability

  • Report sustainability metrics on energy, water and waste

  • Assist to identify and evaluate business case for sustainability projects

  • Safety and Health

  • Assist engineers in risk assessment and evaluation of compliance

  • Develop safety awareness communication materials

  • Plan for emergency response drills for fire, spills, confined space rescue

  • Coordinate medical examination and industrial hygiene assessments

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (any discipline) or Applied Sciences

  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Training will be provided for propriety computer software and required EH&S programs

  • Understanding of injury prevention programs and sustainability practices in a manufacturing environment
