We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Custody Implementations & Change Manager (Securities Services)- Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Client Onboarding Senior Analyst - C12) based in Singapore. In this role, you’re expected to:

  • The Custody Implementations & Change Manager provides responsibility and oversight to onboard new custody clients while also supporting existing clients with incremental growth asks. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full responsibility, of his or her daily tasks and responsibilities.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Focuses on timely and accurate delivery of all custody related activities and products being implemented for clients, as well as delivering superior customer service and resolution of customer concerns related to the onboarding process.

  • Responsible for project management in the custody space, while managing cross-functional relationships with all teams when applicable. Working closely with Implementation managers when multi-product deals are being executed.

  • Collaborates with team on new work procedures.

  • Responsible for customer interaction, documentation issuance, review and support in conjunction with partnering teams.

  • Demonstrates high level of diligence, motivation and organizational skills.

  • Contributes to the motivation of staff and peers through constant and open interaction with the team members. Supports cross functional training to enrich their skill base.

  • Optimizes own capacity to achieve higher productivity levels and output.

  • Understands client requirements and implements them correctly. Understands new customer requirements and ensures adequate support to new customer requirements and initiatives.

  • Ensures a strong and robust risk environment with effective controls. Establishes risk management practice. Maintains a strong culture of risk and controls in the team through various processes and check points.

  • Deals with variable (occasionally complex) issues with substantial potential impact.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Custody world and sub-related products.

  • Team player working closely with partners across countries / regions.

  • Good interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate with internal and external business partners.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated and proven Project management skills including strong management and oversight of project activities such as but not limited to, Project plan writing, tracking project activities & milestones, forecasting and managing Risk and Issue Logs well to mitigate project delays.

  • Advanced execution skills in a multi-tasking mode. Extremely well organized with own time and able to prioritize effectively to manage multiple deals at the same time. Ability to achieve business objectives without compromising on controls and risk parameters established. Ability to interact confidently with senior management, internal teams and external clients / parties as required

  • Able to partner with businesses and other support functions at any level to execute role effectively. Able to strive under pressure and covert opportunity from risk. Should be open to working staggered hour /shift / over weekend and on public holidays (if required). To ensure excellent rapport with internal stakeholders including peers and seniors and duly provide inputs to the team and ensure timely resolution of all issues, wherever there are business risks and the issues need to get addressed such cases should be raised to the senior’s forum for appropriate action and advice.

  • Proficient knowledge of English (written and spoken).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
