A Day in the Life

Reporting to the APAC Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining operating mechanisms to manage transportation partners.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Manage Domestic Transportation flow and Import flow into Singapore.

• Chair review meetings with our logistics partners.

• Manage shipment exceptions and shipment prioritization

• Monitor KPIs & take necessary improvement actions as needed.

• Responsible for Singapore OTIF (On Time in Full ) performance.

• Dangerous Good Management.

• Communication window to internal stakeholders for transportation related queries

• Cost control

• Cost monitoring against budget and initiate root cause analysis if gap is observed.

• Drive/implement continuous improvements and cost saving initiatives.

• Spot quote from partners for ad-hoc cases.

• Working with our Freight Audit partner and Controllership to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.

• Country representative to global/regional projects assigned

• Participate global/regional RFQ as local SME

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 0 years of experience required with an introductory knowledge of company products and services

Your Profile

• Knowledge of transportation operations, freight tendering, and tracking processes

• Broad experience in working with various modes of transportation

• Data analytics skills

• Dangerous Goods Expertise

• SAP Knowledge

• Fluent in English both written and spoken

• Preferred 2 years of experience of transportation and above.

• Being customer centric in all that we do
