PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As a Business Analyst – SAP FICO, you will conduct assessments and discovery workshops, collaborate with PMs to execute projects while managing risks and issues and resolve business and technical challenges. You will gather requirements & translate business requirements into user stories and functional/ technical acceptance criteria, and properly create/ identify applicable test scripts and scenarios.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • You conduct phase zero assessments and discovery workshops

  • You collaborate with project managers to execute individual projects, manage risks and issues, and communicate status to stakeholders in a timely and concise manner

  • You translate individual business requirements into user stories and functional/ technical acceptance criteria and properly create/ identify applicable test scripts and scenarios

  • You identify and understand compliance, SOX and regulatory adherence as part of requirements gathering

  • You identify product features by business value, for development prioritization

  • You groom and scope accurate product backlog, works with technical teams on system design, solutioning and effort estimates

  • You resolve business and technical challenges to deliver on time, cost and quality

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related finance discipline

  • 6-10 years of experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry from business process consulting and/or accounting perspective

  • Business process knowledge within ERP SAP Finance environment for accounting management, budgeting, manufacturing accounting and project reporting for statutory, corporate and management reporting required

  • Proficient at business process mapping, understanding of internal control processes and cross-functional business process and risk identification

  • Strong computer skills, including SAP ERP system, MS Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), flowcharting, and other business software to prepare reports, memos, summaries and analysis

  • Integration of Logistics processes to Finance within SAP environment is preferred

  • Prior experience working with multiple business and IT stakeholders, and ability to translate business requirements for technical developer’s understanding

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
