Vontier Product Support Technician - Hybrid in Simsbury, Connecticut
Provide technical support to our customers in the Service Station industry through quick problem resolution as part of the Tech Support Team.
I. Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and ensure their satisfaction through quick problem resolution
Bring the customer’s voice alive within the marketing and engineering teams to drive innovation
Ensure product quality issues are identified and reported accurately
Work closely with other departments to enhance their expertise and responsiveness to customer needs.
Initiate continuous improvement projects.
Continuously develop product knowledge and customer skills.
II. Relationships
Position reports directly to Ted Ostrowski
Position is key member of the Veeder Root Tech Support team.
Position interacts with Engineering, Operations, Field Service, Sales and Marketing
III. Measures of Performance
Problem Escalations and Resolutions
Customer Responsiveness to incoming calls and emails.
Ability to learn and support new products
I. Background and Skill
Experience working in a customer facing role, or equivalent experience requiring active communication via phone/email in a problem-solving context
Experience in a technical role that requires exposure to troubleshooting or problem solving
Demonstrated technical aptitude
Computer skills with Microsoft Office required.
Able to work hybrid to Simsbury CT and scheduled hours.
The base compensation range for this position is $31.52 to $36.05 per hour to be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
