Job Title: Electronics Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will work from detailed process sheets, engineering change orders, production change notices, and critical item lists to ensure the proper positioning and soldering of components on PCBs. The role involves verifying placement, polarity, and labels on PCBs, performing minimal rework/repairs, and soldering operations as necessary. Additionally, the candidate will complete necessary routing tasks, enter board and/or systems quantities into the BAAN ERP system, and check the configuration of systems. Testing will be conducted on a pass/fail basis, with all troubleshooting passed to the testing department. The candidate must also be able to perform IPC 610 audits and write audit reports.
Responsibilities
Work from detailed process sheets, engineering change orders, production change notices, and critical item lists.
Inspect the proper positioning of components and soldering.
Verify placement, polarity, and labels on PCBs.
Perform minimal rework/repairs as necessary.
Perform minimal soldering operations on PCBs.
Complete necessary routing tasks.
Enter board and/or systems quantities into the BAAN ERP system.
Check the configuration of systems.
Obtain correct paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment and verify their accuracy.
Conduct pass/fail testing and pass all troubleshooting to the testing department.
Perform IPC 610 audits.
Essential Skills
Experience in electronic inspection.
Blueprint reading.
Audit and audit forms experience.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
Experience with first articles inspection.
Ability to work on computers and write audits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience inspecting PCB boards.
Experience with SMT inspecting.
Hand soldering skills.
Experience with harnessing and cables.
Pay
$28-$35

Work Environment
You will be working in a brand new facility with about 6 people in the quality department and 40 people on the manufacturing floor. The dress code includes wearing a smock and electronic boot straps.
