The General Labourer will be a mature individual who will demonstrate the necessary qualities to perform this position with attention to detail and organization. What you will do as the General Labourer:
Organize, weigh, package, label products, and fulfil orders.
Feed and unload processing machines and assist machine operators with their duties.
Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into bags, boxes or other containers.
Clean work areas and equipment - maintain food safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment.
Prepare skids and outgoing orders in preparation for deliveries and error-free shipments.
Receive and unload freight and validate all shipped and received materials.
Adhere to and abide by all Health and Safety rules, regulations and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Ability to take direction
Ability to work in cold conditions
Good work ethic and organized
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
