Code: 39-9011.00 - Childcare Workers Job Description: Position Summary: The Provider is responsible for providing comprehensive childcare services and educational support to the family's children. This position involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental growth of the children under their care, while also fostering a nurturing and culturally enriching environment. This position includes housing, meals and transportation. The Childcare Provider is required to possess specific certifications and skills to meet the demands of the role. The wage is $2550 per month, with rent at $1300 per month and meals at $800 per month, totaling $4650 per month.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Childcare and Educational Support: Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Assist with homework assignments and reinforce learning concepts. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment conducive to children's growth and development. Infant CPR Certification: Possess certification in Infant CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid to ensure readiness to handle emergency situations involving infants. Transportation: Hold a valid United States driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Transport children to and from school, extracurricular activities, appointments, and other outings as needed. Flexible Hours: Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight stays. Adapt schedule to accommodate the family's needs, providing childcare and support on a 24/7 basis if necessary. Light Housework: Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as organizing children's belongings and maintaining cleanliness in designated areas. Cultural Exchange: Share cultural experiences, language, and traditions with the family and promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with the family regarding children's activities, progress, and any concerns or issues. Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in parenting practices and routines. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or related roles. Infant CPR certification and First Aid training. Valid United States driver's license and clean driving record. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Cultural sensitivity and openness to diverse backgrounds and experiences.
