Position Purpose:
In accord with the mission and core values of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital and guided by the strategic plan, this position is responsible for the planning, development, organization and leadership of the Women’s and Children’s Division activities. By preparing the Women’s and Children’s Division Plan and the annual Work Plan this individual works to ensure that patients at Holy Cross Hospital are afforded the maximum opportunity for the best possible outcome, in an environment that is both safe and caring.
This goal is achieved by: (1) enhancing the consistency, continuity and coordination of care delivered throughout Holy Cross Hospital and related entities; (2) monitoring and improving Women’s and Children’s clinical service, safety and management processes and patient outcomes; (3) promoting the use of evidence-based practice to improve the outcomes of the patients in the Women’s and Children’s Division, and (4) supporting the ongoing quality improvement and accreditation initiatives of Holy Cross Hospital.
What You Do:
Provide 24/7 operational management and leadership for Women’s and Children’s Services patient care units.
Oversee professional development, quality of care delivery, and performance improvement activities.
Lead the Women’s and Children’s interdisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
Assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of services delivered, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement plans for service maintenance, enhancement, and ongoing evaluation of system effectiveness.
Ensure leadership and direction align with JCAHO and other regulatory standards.
·Support the mission, values, and strategic goals of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure: Current Maryland RN license and/or Compact State licensure.
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, terminal degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of nursing practice and 5 years of management experience in an acute care setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage teams and build effective relationships.
Proven ability to analyze data, manage change, and implement solutions that drive results.
Demonstrated expertise in resource management, operational planning, and navigating ambiguity under pressure.

Pay rate: $61.25– $200.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
