Actalent Structural Engineer in Sidney, Ohio

Job Title: Structural EngineerJob Description

Open to remote candidates in Central and Eastern Time zones. Seeking a PE Structural Engineer to join a rapidly growing design group in NW Ohio. The role involves primarily using AutoCAD and RISA software to perform facilities design. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in facilities design.

Responsibilities

  • Perform facilities design using AutoCAD and RISA software.

  • Design tasks will occupy approximately 75% of weekly workload.

  • Check drawings and lead the team for about 25% of weekly tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • PE licensure (strongly desired).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities design.

  • Experience with RISA software.

  • BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in structural design.

  • Knowledge of structural steel, construction documents, and steel structures.

  • Familiarity with Revit.

Work Environment

The role is ideally office-based, but fully remote work is possible for the right candidate. The office is located in a brand new facility in Sidney, OH. The company offers a dynamic and rapidly growing environment.
