Staffmark is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for the leading supplier of Thermoplastic Olefins and Polypropylene Compounds to the North American Automotive Industry in Sidney, OH. Pay: $25+ per hour (Based on Experience) 3rd Shift Hours: 5 PM - 5:30 AM, working a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (Will work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next) The Maintenance Technician will handle all equipment repairs, and equipment PMs necessary to keep production equipment operating with minimal downtime. The focus is on ensuring efficient and effective economics of operations, and achievement of maintenance department goals while projecting a positive and approachable attitude. Diagnose and repair 480 Volt 3-phase, 220 Volt & 110 Volt single-phase Motor Starters, and Contacts Controls. Troubleshoot 480-volt 3-phase Motors and DC motors up to 700 HP. Read and understand electrical schematics for equipment controls, determine equipment failures, and knowledge to make repairs to the electrical controls. Determine mechanical issues which may include the replacement of hydraulics/pneumatics valves, pumps, blowers, gearboxes, and slide gates. Complete routine reports and correspondences. Forklift experience. Strong electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, math, and analytical skills.
