This is a great opportunity to join our innovative and growing SFCU team.In this role you are responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's network and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include the smooth operation of network services, manages IT systems, and supervises a team of IT professionals. This position will require proficient skills in strategic planning, system optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure as well as strong leadership abilities focused on fostering a strong team environment and employee professional growth.<p> Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.) Oversee network configurations, monitor performance, and resolve network-related issues. Ensure high network availability, performance, and security. Manage routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, and VPN infrastructure;

Lead and manage a team of network engineers, system administrators, and other IT professionals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT-related needs and business goals. Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for team members. Work with IT Project Manager to assign resources and plan project related tasks;

Oversee the management and optimization of servers, storage, and other IT infrastructure. Ensure the infrastructure is scalable, resilient, and cost-effective. Implement and maintain virtualization solutions and cloud infrastructure;

Provide high-level support for complex network and infrastructure issues. Establish a proactive monitoring system to identify and address issues before they impact operations;

Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies. Prepare regular reports on infrastructure performance, project status, and security incidents;

Develop and manage the network & infrastructure budget based on strategic goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to understand future needs and technology updates;

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.<p> Knowledge and Skills:

Five years to eight years of similar or related experience;

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree);

Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.<p>

Other Skills

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and IT infrastructure technologies;

Proven leadership and team management experience;

Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with both technical and non-technical users;

Experience in managing and optimizing large-scale, complex network environments;

Experience with virtualization, cloud technologies, network security, and firewall management;

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
