The Position: Patient Accounts Director
Employment status: Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay period: 80
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise and lead a team of 9-12 Patient Accounts professionals
Oversee all aspects of patient billing, including insurance claims, denial resolution, and self pay billing.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing best practices
Work closely with other departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
Provide guidance, training, and support to the billing team.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
A solid understanding of patient billing practices and healthcare regulations
Knowledge of critical access hospital billing is a plus
Education
High school diploma
Certifications and Licenses
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) through HFMA required within 1 year of hire

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Patient Accounts Director to join our I CARE team in the Patient Accounts setting. This is a hands-on supervisory role focusing on the management of our billing operations. You will supervise a team of 9-12 Patient Accounts employees, ensuring that all billing processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulations.
