The team

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing welding procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for all the welding activities according EN ISO 14731.

  • Training, testing and qualification of welders and welding operators.

  • Development, implementation, and improvement of welding techniques for manual, mechanized and automated processes (WPQR’s, WPS’s).

  • You ensure the quality of our products by monitoring and inspection during production process.

  • Supporting the technology department during the implementation of new welding processes and projects.

  • Development, implementation, and improvement of welding documentation: welding and assembly plans, verification checklists, inspection and test plans, testing specifications, work sample plans, work samples, welding procedure specifications, etc.

  • Analyzing engineering blueprints and designs for welding requirements.

  • Advising the Sales department regarding the acquisition of new projects by doing design and contract reviews.

  • You represent our company in front of the customer during single inspections, audits, company presentations and implementation of new projects.

  • Contribute at solving all quality matters related to our welded products.

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

  • Mandatory IWE certification (International Welding Engineer).

  • You have a minimum experience of 3 years as a welding coordinator acc. EN ISO 14731, experience acc. EN ISO 15085 series it’s considered acceptable.

  • Good reading and interpretation of the technical drawings.

  • Familiar with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum manufacturing

  • Knowledge of quality methods (8D, 5Why)

  • You are familiar with different software like: MS Office 365, SAP, CAD

  • You can speak English at a conversational level, German is a plus.

  • You are looking forward and try to improve processes by thinking out of the box.

  • Willing to learn, adapt to new projects and situations.

  • Understanding and adapting client’s requirements to your own manufacturing process.
